The editiing of ID3 tags in an MP3 is horrible. You cant add anything that isnt there already, and you have to read the description and parse it correctly to realize that before you buy. "Any and all" is a stupid and misleading way to desctibe its editing features. And there are far better file renamers available for free. I want my money back!

But Ill still be deleting and looking for a better renaming utility. Why do you need to copy the files instead of just renaming them?

Five stars because after 4 years having in to do list, I finally cleaned up my Pictures Folder!

Cant seem to find out exactly how to change the extension. Can select the option, no where to enter the new extension...

I just reorganized a ton of photos in different folders. Renamed most of them with a few clicks. Would have taken hours otherwise.

Im a graphic designer that works on tons of images in Photoshop. I have a script that saves all of the layers of files out of Photoshop as jpegs and then tiffs. After this is done, I use Quickrenamer to do the renaming of the files. It works as described and has enough versitility to help me get my work done quickly. Great job guys (and gals)

What is the most basic and essential EXIF data that one might want to change? Maybe the date? THIS APP DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT!!!!!!! Complete garbage.

Hangs when trying to a folder change

Works great for simple renames. Ill give it 5 stars when I can find/replace with regular expressions. Thanks!

This is a 99 cent app at best. There were difficulties using this with OS 10.8.2. Its finder window did not refresh, data fields were not sized correctly, windows could not be resized using all corners and the interface was far from intuitive. Some of the other reviews are suspect.

Just spent 30 minutes trying to get this app to work. All I wanted to do was change the extension on about 15 files in a single directory. I went through the steps and the app told me that the extension was changed. But after checking in the finder, I found the extensions were not changed. I repeated this several times, same result. Limited, almost non-existent documentation, both online and on the support site. How do I get my money back?

GUI IS VERY SIMPLE LOOKING BUT NOT TOTALLY UNDERSTANDING HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM FREEZES UP THE COMPUTER.

Horrible. Did nothing but freeze up. Totally unintuitive. At least I only wasted $1.99

all I want to do is rename my screenshots with a month name (Feb) and a day number but after much trial and error I get Feb 001, Feb 002, etc. instead of Feb 1, Feb 2, etc, Have tried to eliminate the folllowing 00s but cant do it. Have wasted enough time on this app. will not use it anymore… too bad. it is reasonably priced.

Trieds this application today and never even got to the rename part. It is EXTREMELY slow. Wish I could give you guys a better review but the performance makes this basically unusable.

There are many aspects to the ID3 and not just artist and title. There is genre, year, etc. This application fails on every ID3 aspect except artist and title. How can you not support genre? Wake up.

I use this app to batch rename photos on my cameras 32 GB SD disc prior to importing them. This allows me to identify groups of photos I shot so I can work with them later. If I have already imported the photos, I can still use the app to rename the imported files in batches to identify the groups I want. I can also specify where I want the newly named files to reside and I can delete the old file after I it is renamed. I was disapointed I could not change the names of folders, but then I do not expect any app to be able to do everything. I am quite pleased with this one. It is easy to use and I am able to show others in the family how to use it without difficulty.

Doesnt allow you to rename my just any data in EXIF, only small selection.

I had a large number of files that were created using the wrong naming convention. Using the advanced "replace" option I could enter the incorrect string and have it replace the incorrect sting with the new correct string. I really liked the "after name" window. It shows what the file name will look like before you click the "rename" button. Basicaly, it made it easy to see that I didint make another error when I renamed all the files again. The very resonable cost of this app was well worth the time it saved me.
